“What have you learned from your field trip to Ouro Preto?”

“What have you learned from your field trip to Ouro Preto?”

Getting out of our city means learning something new. Going to Ouro Preto was a life opportunity of learning things about other places, about our friends and ourselves.
We’ve learned how to live in group and enjoy every moment with friends. Moreover, we can establish relationships between students and teachers, and now we know more about our teachers and even our friends. We shared the room in the days of the trip, and it was good for us to organize more our things.
In Ouro Preto, when we went to the churches in the early days, we’ve learned a part of Brazilian history and the African influences in our country.

In Caraça, we learned how to have a simple life, appreciate and preserve the nature. Moreover, we’ve learned how to live near the woods without technology. We had a new experience three too, we saw a wolf on the last days of the trip. It was wonderful and very exciting!
We’ve learned other things too with some experience we had, like: It’s amazing to travel with school by plane, but it is more difficult to have respect and silence in the churches. And It’s fun to live with all our school friends and know more about them.
The field trip was good for the students, because we’ve learned a lot about the history of Ouro Preto and how to live with friends and teachers. We had fun and learned at the same time throughout the trip. That was a travel that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.
