OURO PRETO

Ouro Preto was really a good trip. We've learned so much about Brazilian history, including Independence and obviously about Minas Conspiracy, after all, we were in Minas Gerais, the scene of many important Brazilian historical events.

At the whole trip we visited many churches and museums and we learned so much about Brazilian Barroco Art and the history of Brazilian art, one of the richest and the best in the world and in history.

If you are thinking we've only learned about art and historical aspects you are totally wrong. On the second day, at night, we went to the Astronomy Observatory of Ouro Preto and we could see the sky greater, we saw many constellations like Cruzeiro and it was absolutely one of the most exciting moments of the trip. So, also we learned about Science.

Moreover, at the last two days of the trip we went to Caraça Sanctuary and there we learned more about nature and we really tried to spent these days without any technology... We couldn't do that! NO WAY!

In Caraça we could be closer to nature and animals. We did a little cooper and we passed in many different kinds of forest like tropical and caatinga, moist and dry places, flat and steep places. We lived different things, we will remember this for the rest of our lives.
