Ouro Preto

From our trip to Ouro Preto, we have learned a lot of things, that we will take for the rest of our lives!
While walking through the city steets, we saw that the landscape is very inclined, and with many stones. We visited the "Praça Tiradentes", where we saw the statue of Tiradentes, men who fought for the independence of "Minas Gerais", and has become a hero in history.
We went to so many churches, where we could understand a little of the religion of the place, and there we learned a lot about Barroco Arte too.
We visited two mines: "Mina da Passagem" and "Mina do Jeje", where we could see the poor working conditions that slaves were subjected for generate profit from the extraction of precious Stones, for their masters.
During our trip we have discovered that Ouro Preto is a place of cultural events and we witnessed a demonstration;we saw a presentation of "Congado".
In addition to all this things, about the contet we have learned others things for our life! We spent more time with our friends to know them better, we could help each other better and we had so much fun!
